The original design and fabrication of the Carsales signage was poor. There was evidence that the acrylic face panels were at risk of detachment. GDP devised a method to retro fit the existing panels with a superior fixing detail. The methodology was documented by our structural engineer. GDP redesigned and fabricated a lifting device that could be used as a roof crane, to eliminate the need to have a mobile crane located at ground level. The signage elements were removed, remediated & reinstated. Some of the damaged face panels were replaced and the lighting system was upgraded.
